a Match From Newsday August 14th, 2006 "Find someone that works with your age group, and if you're a professional, look for someone who works with professionals," says Terri Sloane, a matchmaker who splits her time between Manhattan's Upper East Side and Remsenburg, near Westhampton Beach, on the East End, marketing her services to "upscale professional baby boomers."
Through her service, Introductions by TS, Sloane, who has a background in teaching, counseling and real estate, also offers relationship and social coaching and image consulting. She'll even take you shopping for a new wardrobe, if necessary. A tastemaker, too "A guy who's married his whole life, he doesn't even know where to begin. I'll be teaching Dating 101," she says. "Maybe he'll need a makeover. Maybe his wife has dressed him for 16 years and he needs help finding a pair of jeans. ... It's a very highly individualized approach."
